Titans Program

100 Black Men of Greater Charlotte

Titans Program Description

One of the most important precepts of the 100 Black Men is “Mentoring for a Lifetime”, which seeks to address systemic issues and bridge opportunity gaps for marginalized African American youth. This platform provides a comprehensive structure through which the organization’s volunteer network provides community-wide youth programming and services, face-to-face mentoring, online mentor training, and a facilitated mentee curriculum that includes a Health & Wellness, Economic Empowerment, Education, and Mentoring / Life skills. We also provide tutoring assistance, scholarships and a robust STEAM program.

The 100 Black Men of Greater Charlotte is expanding its mentoring portfolio to encompass students between the ages of 18 – 24. Our newest offering, which we have labeled the “Titan Program”, will focus on those young men who have graduated from high school and are in that sometimes-confusing transitional period, where they require assistance evaluating their career options and aspirations. In order to address this issue, the 100 Charlotte Chapter is proud to partner with Central Piedmont Community College to provide a possible solution.
