100 Black Men of Greater Charlotte Scholarship Application

The 100 Black Men of Charlotte reserve the right to distribute annual awards in accordance with recommendations from its Scholarship Committee and approval from its Board of Directors.  For 2026, a grand total of $25,000.00 in scholarships and prizes will be awarded over a four (4) year period.  Applicants meeting or exceeding qualifications for an award are not guaranteed to receive the award.  Distribution of the awards will be in a fair and equitable manner in accordance with the funds available and deliberations by the Scholarship Committee and approval from the Board of Directors.

Submission of the form below with your electronic signature indicates your acceptance of the Photograph and Video Authorization and Release.  

You will need the following in order to submit this form:

• Community Service Hours: Verification of 50 hours of community service hours has been completed.
• Essay: Applicants will be required to submit an essay (500-750 words).
• Letter of Recommendation: Three (3) letter of recommendation is required.
• Transcript:  Official transcript from your high school
• Acceptance letter:  College or university acceptance letter(s)
• Headshot:  Recent head-shot/photograph
